about Jennifer

I value genuine connection and meet each client with compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for their story.

Image of Jenny

Jennifer is a trauma therapist and the founder of Blue Waters Therapy and Wellness. She is passionate about helping people heal, drawing from years of experience in providing trauma-focused therapy. Jennifer firmly believes that every person is unique and beautifully complex, so she tailors her approach to meet each client exactly where they are, creating a space where they feel truly seen and supported.

From a young age, Jennifer has been deeply attuned to the goodness and resilience in others. Before becoming a therapist, she worked in the field of health and wellness, focusing on the powerful connection between the body and mind—something that continues to shape her therapeutic work today.

Over the years, she has worked in a variety of settings, including residential and outpatient treatment, hospital social work, and hospice care. She has worked therapeutically with individuals and families facing immense challenges, including homelessness, loss of loved ones, domestic violence, addiction, grief, and child abuse.

Jennifer’s deep empathy comes not just from her clinical training but also from her own lived experiences. She has a natural ability to connect with others, understanding the vast range of human emotions—the joys, the struggles, and everything in between. For her, therapy isn’t just a profession—it’s a calling.
