Yes, we offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. It’s a chance for us to connect, talk about what you’re looking for, and see if it feels like a good fit. Finding the right therapist is really important—the relationship is a big part of what makes therapy helpful. You should feel comfortable, safe, and heard.
We accept all major insurance plans, including Cigna, Aetna, Optum, UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Evernorth. We also offer self-pay options for those who prefer to pay out of pocket. HSA (Health Savings Account) cards are welcome as well. If you have any questions about coverage or payment, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help you navigate your options.
We strive for a warm approach, one that is relational, and grounded in authenticity. We bring our full, human self into the room and work from a place of deep care and transparency, because we believe that trust and safety are essential to meaningful healing. While our work together can be deep and sacred, we also believe that appropriate humor can be incredibly healing—and we welcome it when the moment calls for it. We are genuinely invested in the well-being of our clients and honor the courage it takes to share your story. It’s a privilege to walk alongside you.
In our first few sessions (typically 1–4), we’ll spend time getting to know each other. You’ll have space to share your story, and we’ll explore whether working together feels like the right fit. We’ll also start to identify your goals and create a plan that feels aligned with what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. Building a strong connection and foundation is essential—it’s what makes deeper, long-term work possible.
Once we’ve laid that groundwork, we’ll move into the heart of the work. This phase looks different for everyone, depending on what you’re coming in with and what feels most important to focus on. Some sessions may be about gaining insight or learning tools to navigate challenges, while others may be more about feeling and expressing emotions you’ve been carrying. Our role is to guide and support you—but your growth also depends on your willingness to engage with the work both in and outside of our time together. Change is possible, and your commitment to the process makes a real difference.
Life happens, and sometimes plans change. You’ll receive text and/or email reminders before your session to help keep things on your radar. If you need to cancel or reschedule, just let me know at least 24 hours in advance. This allows me to offer that time to someone else who may be waiting. Please note that cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to a fee that isn’t covered by insurance, in line with practice policy.
Sessions are conducted through , a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform that allows clients across Arizona to meet for therapy remotely. sessions can be conducted easily from a computer, tablet, or phone—whatever works best for you.
