We are trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, to help the brain reprocess distressing memories, reducing their emotional intensity and allowing for a healthier integration of the experience. This approach is particularly beneficial for individuals struggling with PTSD, anxiety, and trauma-related distress, helping them move forward with a greater sense of peace and stability.

Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based approach that we use to help children, adolescents, and adults work through trauma. This therapy combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with trauma-sensitive interventions to help individuals understand, process, and heal from painful experiences. TF-CBT is especially effective for those dealing with PTSD, anxiety, and depression, providing tools to manage distressing emotions and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

Mindfulness-based therapy helps individuals cultivate present-moment awareness and self-compassion. We integrate mindfulness techniques such as breathwork, meditation, and grounding exercises to support clients in regulating their emotions, reducing stress, and building resilience. This approach is particularly useful for those struggling with anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation, allowing them to feel more connected and in control of their experiences.

Trauma is not just stored in the mind—it also lives in the body. Body-based therapies focus on bodily sensations and nervous system regulation, allowing individuals to release stored tension and trauma in a safe and gradual way. We use somatic techniques to help clients reconnect with their bodies, relieve chronic stress, and find a sense of calm and safety. These approaches are especially beneficial for individuals who feel physically or emotionally stuck due to trauma.

Acceptance is a powerful tool that allows individuals to acknowledge and accept painful emotions and circumstances without judgment. Approaching challenges with acceptance helps reduce suffering by shifting the focus from resistance to compassionate acceptance. We support clients in embracing what they cannot change while also identifying meaningful ways to move forward.

We understand that our earliest relationships shape the way we experience trust, safety, connection, and even our sense of self. Through an attachment-based approach, we help clients explore how past relational patterns may still be impacting current emotions, relationships, and self-esteem. Drawing from the principles of attachment theory, we recognize that the need for connection is a fundamental part of being human. Whether healing from attachment wounds, addressing relational trauma, or building new patterns of trust and emotional security, we work with clients to foster deeper understanding, self-compassion, and lasting change.

Supervision is more than case consultation—it’s a space for growth, reflection, and support. As Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and EMDR-trained therapists, we offer supervision that is relational, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. Our style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity, and we especially love working with new clinicians who are navigating the complex and often vulnerable early stages of their professional identity.

We believe that who we are as therapists is deeply shaped by our lived experiences, identities, and nervous systems—not just the modalities we use. In our work together, we’ll make space for the clinical and the personal. That might include exploring countertransference, ethical dilemmas, nervous system regulation, imposter syndrome, or the emotional impact of the work. We’ll also reflect on how culture, power, and systemic dynamics influence your role as a therapist, approaching these conversations with openness and humility.

Our goal is to support you in becoming the most grounded, attuned, and authentic version of yourself as a clinician. Whether we’re diving into theory, processing emotional reactions, or celebrating the small wins, supervision with us is a place where your full self is welcome.

We offer both individual and group supervision, and would be honored to support you on your path.
